Dragonfly

Odo Fioravanti

Dragonfly is an idea born on the wings of dragonflies, in an attempt to simulate their body. In fact their body is characterized by an imbalance of weight between front legs and cantilevered tail. This observation inspired a collection of seating that seems to challenge gravity. Not only the overall look but also the design of each components is made thinking to this likeness, in fact on the backrest shell plenty of vertical ribbing mimics the dragonfly wings. All the multi-functional bases could be paired with a variety of polypropylene shell colours for chairs and stools.
